About RobinhoodTokenNewRights
Robinhood is developing redemption and voting rights for its stock tokens, backed 1:1 by real shares but not conferring direct ownership. Eligible holders will redeem tokens for actual shares and vote in shareholder meetings. AMC challenged Robinhood for tokenizing shares without issuer consent; CEO Tenev argued permission isn't required when a product doesn't alter share rights or the registry. Stock tokens are moving closer to direct ownership, but issuer consent remains an open question.

#RobinhoodTokenNewRights Stock tokens are starting to blur the line between crypto and actual ownership 👀
Robinhood plans to let eligible holders redeem tokens for real shares and vote, even though the tokens themselves don't confer direct ownership.
What caught my attention is the issuer question.
If platforms can tokenize stocks without company approval, tokenization could scale much faster. But giving those tokens shareholder-like rights may make that legal boundary much harder to ignore.
I think LONG’s latest data is worth paying attention to, not just because its trading volume has surpassed $1.4B, but because it is starting to prove that it is becoming the trading infrastructure for Stock Tokens + Perps on the Robinhood Chain.
Currently, LONG has surpassed $1.4B in total trading volume across tokenized stocks and spot perps on RH, while holding $14.5M in Stock TVL, roughly 9% of all Stock TVL onchain. It also has another $2M#FOMCRateCallThisWeek #AIAnxietyHitsChipStocks
The key test for stock tokens is what holders can actually exercise. Robinhood is developing redemption and voting rights, although its tokens do not confer direct ownership.
My read: redemption could make the link to shares more meaningful. But greater utility would not, by itself, settle the issuer-consent question raised by AMC.

Crypto stocks ≠ US stocks, so what exactly is the difference? Robinhood is now trying to bridge this gap.
Previously, when you bought Apple or Tesla on-chain, you were essentially buying stock tokens, not the actual US stocks.
Buying US stocks = you are a shareholder.
Buying crypto stocks = you hold an on-chain financial instrument representing the stock's value.#FOMCRateCallThisWeek #AIAnxietyHitsChipStocks #SaudiOilPipelineDamaged

Wall Street is quietly moving onto blockchains.
The SEC is meeting with BlackRock, Nasdaq, NYSE and Robinhood today to discuss tokenized securities. $SOL already has roughly $465M in tokenized stocks on-chain.
Forget meme coins for a second.
If US stocks become 24/7 blockchain assets, which chain captures the liquidity?

Onchain stocks need to peg their price to the real stocks so issuers like Robinhood have to constantly mint new supply to lower the price or burn supply to raise it.
You can watch this happen at pretty regular intervals, but trading it is extremely crowded. Maybe during high vol days you could jump in and catch some arb but you'd be trying to arb-the-arber (robinhood) who both runs the chain and issues the tokens.

Basketstock on Robinhood Chain explained.
Pons creator fees → V3 swaps → stock tokens held in a vault.
After graduation, burn tokens to redeem your share. This isn’t multi-pairing or LP exposure, and it doesn’t peg the token’s price. The contracts are deployed onchain. This is working tech and the closest we made it where you can pair multiple stocks into one coin and share fees to holders. This ends vamps/pvps when a narrative comes out and there are 5 differet coins with 5 different stocks.
