How do I transfer funds in Pay?

Pay any contact

1. Open OKX Pay app, tap the ↑ icon > Select Pay any contact

2. Select the crypto and network > Enter the transfer amount > Next

3. Select the recipient > Pay

4. Complete the verification

Transfer to Exchange

1. Open OKX Pay app, tap the ↑ icon > Select Transfer to Exchange

2. Select the currency and network > Enter the transfer amount > Next

3. Select Transfer > Complete the verification

Note:

  • Except for X Layer, Pay may require an additional network activation fee for the first transfer through other networks.

  • Pay transfers cannot be cancelled or reversed once submitted. Please carefully review all information and confirm before proceeding.

Pay a wallet address

1. Open OKX Pay app, tap the ↑ icon > Select Transfer to wallet address

2. Select the recipient account type as Exchange or platform or Unhosted wallet > Next

  • Exchanges or platforms: OKX, Bybit, Binance, Kraken, etc.

  • Unhosted wallet: OKX Wallet, MetaMask, Trezor, etc.

3. Select the network > Paste or scan the recipient's address > Next

4. Select the crypto > Enter the amount > Transfer > Preview

5. Select Send > Complete the verification

Does OKX Pay charge a fee for transfers or payments?

Whether a fee applies depends on the network used, as detailed below:

1. On the X Layer network: no fees at all

Transfers or payments made on the X Layer network (including transfers to contacts, wallet addresses, or Exchange accounts) are completely free, with the associated cost covered by OKX. Transferring assets from your OKX Exchange funding account to OKX Pay is also free of charge.

2. On other networks: fees may apply

The first time you use a given network, a one-time network activation fee is charged. This fee goes to network miners, not to OKX, and its amount is unrelated to the transfer or payment amount — the exact amount will be shown on the page. For subsequent transfers on the same network, you'll only pay the standard on-chain network fee (i.e., gas fee), with no additional charge from OKX.Fees vary by coin and network — please refer to the amount displayed on the transaction page for the exact figure.
